pshenmic.dev Dash Electrum Proposal January 2025
Updated on 13 Dec 2024
Hey folks!
This is funding proposal for pshenmic.dev DFO Dash Electrum project.
Recently, we received few asks for the Dash Electrum wallet application
to implement an Evonodes registation support. It turnt out, there is no
way currently to register an Evonode except with a DashCore Wallet or
DMT (only supports hardware wallets), requiring you to download a lot
of chain data just for making a ProTx transaction. We revised the wallet
DIP3 functionality, and found another problem which happens when you
try to update the masternode, or register it using an existing UTXO
(https://github.com/pshenmic/electrum-dash/issues/27)
We have a dedicated developer who learnt the code and is able to
maintenance and push new features to this project.
The plan is to implement the Evonodes registrations and management,Although there few more things we’d like to do:
- Fix current DIP3 functionality
- Implement Evonode registration
- Fix update checker
- Signatures verify instructions on the website
- Maintenance and small bugfixing
We are requesting 100 Dash, that should cover correcting current DIP3
implementation, Evonodes registration implementation and website
changes.
