Proposal description
This proposal is for building a marketing budget to promote the Evolution release and further features and improvements as they are deployed.
Since the mainnet release of Evolution, we are preparing to run advertisement campaigns, conduct PR pushes, promote it at conferences, etc. This proposal is to continue building a fund so that we are able to promote Evolution and new features throughout the year.
We already have a $25,000 Brave campaign funded and ready to go for the beginning of January (see fuller explanation in the main Dash Growth proposal) that will include a promotional takeover of the browser's new tab screen, along with an A/B testing campaign for the mobile Android wallets. Further funding will allow us to continue to run further campaigns built on the result of the initial campaign (including releasing iOS users when that wallet is released). We also have secured a legal opinion letter which will hopefully facilitate us running ads on X.
The ask is for 200 Dash per month for the beginning 6 months of the year. Please feel free to vote to fund, or defund (in case other higher-priority projects need funding), this proposal on any given month. We will do our best with whatever funds are made available, and revisit the promotional budget ask at the beginning of the next quarter.
If this ask is insufficient for the promotional needs of this year, please feel free to comment, and with enough feedback and working with other proposal owners we will explore putting in supplemental proposals.

Vote for whichever proposal you prefer obviously, but I would encourage you to pick the SDK proposal over this one this month.

The same stupidity of the voters, again and again.
2 : proposal owner indicated on Discord having no problem with possibly diverting the evolution marketing warchest funds to causes that have nothing to do with the evolution marketing warchest (publicly playing with the idea of using a portion of this budget proposal funding to support laid-off DCG devs for example).
3 : with JS SDK still nowhere in sight and even getting redesigned from scratch, causing Platform to have no dApps for a long time to come, i just don't see a product to promote right now nor a need anymore to accumulate a warchest for this.
