Proposal description

DashCentral stands as the primary governance platform for DASH, a role it has fulfilled since 2014. Over the years, I've consistently implemented changes to the website, ensuring its compatibility with the ever-evolving DashCore software.

The operational costs of DashCentral have been borne by me for the past decade, supplemented by the donations from the community (typically ranging from 1-2 DASH per month) and 6 months of dashcentral-operations1 proposal, that expired.

I am seeking funding support amounting to 30 DASH per month to sustain the ongoing operations of DashCentral. This funding will cover hosting, sysops, and a monthly allocation of 0.5 working days for developer/sysop activities. This financial backing is required to maintain the website's uptime and ensure it's functionality remains synchronized with DashCore's continuous changes.

Hey @rango,

If the treasury is going to be funding the maintenance or development, could dashcentral be open sourced? The ability for other people to host a mirror of dashcentral or otherwise review the code I think is important if we are funding it.

Thanks!

Also, if the MNs are paying for DashCentral, I believe that Rango should follow our directives and stop letting people without MNs, a proposal and/or badges post (I don't count you of course, everyone I think knows you, its just to prevent trolling and spam). People like itsdemo and grandmasterdash, who both refuse to answer whether or not they have a masternode.

Hi Rango. Thanks for maintaining this great site for all these years. One of my colleagues, coolaj86, isn't able to access his account. Here's a message from him:

> I can't Sign Up, nor can I do a Password Reset. I'd like to either have my coolaj86 account fixed so that I can reset my password (or have a temporary password sent to me), or have my account removed so that I can create it again.

Thanks in advance for looking into it and helping him get in. Much appreciated.

Please tell him to send an email to support@dashcentral.org with the rough date he registered with DashCentral and the country he is living in.

Yes from me.

I am wondering if you have you been in further contact with 32teeth (see shoutbox, he is the original creator of the rabbit mobile app and later the dash whale app that is posted in the mobile section of the site), who was toying with the idea of building an updated Dash Central version for iOS (and possibly android) ?

To this day i am actually still using Dash Central on my Android phone but it involves extracting an APK file when switching phones, as this Dash Central app is no longer listed on the Playstore for me. I think it is the same for the iOS app store.

Yes, essential service.

Platform will allow for more governance improvements but even then Dash Central will be needed.
