I am withdrawing this proposal as I have a sufficient buffer (1893 Dash) and the funds from this proposal are better utilized elsewhere.

These views are my own:

• Delivering Evolution (platform) is essential, failure is not an option. Losing DCG talent would be very damaging to the project as high calibre developers are very hard to source. DCG is not perfect but I would not 'throw the baby out with the bathwater' so to speak. I know some people are on the fence about or outright against Evolution - regardless of your position on it, we need to deliver and soon, failure to do so will be damning for Dash. I also want to assure anyone on the fence that I am very confident in the value, whilst it's hard to distill and explain succinctly I will work on doing so as it's important that we as a network are aligned behind it for launch.
  
• I am working on a major wallet for Dash, initially as an extension but designed to be published to mobile and desktop too. It has full DashPay usernames, platform powered encrypted chat, full layer 1 and layer 2 support and so on, in time it will also have privacy, exchange features and on/off-ramps. The key urgency for this dapp is that without it, our only launch dapps will be DashPay (on mobile) and 'enter mnemonic' / upload keystore style dapps. Having this wallet and accompanying library for developers to integrate with is essential for a successful platform launch. If we don't have an open, user-accessible ecosystem for developers to easily build on then evolution will release not with a bang, but a whimper.
• The work of the other strategists is very high value. Rion, for example, is working on essential improvements to Dash to make privacy and payments more accessible for merchants, developers and other partners. Tim is working on several dapps to launch with platform that will be valuable for developers and as independent dapps to showcase evolution as well as atomic swaps between Dash and Ethereum amongst other work.

I have asked for accurate current figures and I will update this post as/when they are. 

Ideally I would like to see the other work continue to whatever capacity it can and continue to deliver from both the incubator and DCG in parallel, but I am at least in a situation where my work will continue without this funding.
