Proposal description

At the end of the month when the budget system finalizes the budget, any funds that are left over of the maximum 10% emission are never created (e.g. burned). This proposal will send funds that will otherwise be destroyed and allow the core team to fund ongoing projects.

There are 7 of these proposals that form the catchall system (Catchall-1024, Catchall-512, Catchall-256, Catchall-128, Catchall-64, Catchall-32, Catchall-16). These combined can catch any amount between 16 and 2048 DASH left over in the system.

Please do not vote this proposal up beyond 12% network support, we don't want it to bump any other items.

Why is it that these "catch" proposals keep resetting vote counts to zero? It's happened 4 times in the last 2 weeks.

I wonder, if someone submitted a proposal to have the core team fix the budget system, as the voters want it done, if they would actually do it? Or is has Kardashian Politics reached them, too?

Hey, why not just fix the budget system so that it doesn't do this silliness in the first place? Oh, right, because spite against the guy who suggested it is more important...

The only true purpose of these "catch" proposals, is to push anything out of the budget that isn't a pet pork project of the core team.

Oh, and just so you guys realize; I've never submitted a proposal. Ever. Not once. So, I can't be mad about "my" proposal not getting voted in when I never had one...

Offtopic: but I was thinking we could start a "Dash Soda machine in every US State" campaign aimed at doing just that. Go 1 by 1 and see how cheap we can get them made, maybe once we find out how to build a cheap model, it will become vastly more popular idea. Then everyone in the US could by sodas for Dash after a small drive! Just for the experience.. Couldn't find you anywhere else so i though't i'd drop the idea here :D

Whats the cheapest you think a soda machine could become? Parts wise. Under $500?

If you were really stingy, under 400.

What will these funds be used for? I sure hope there will be expense reports for these items as well. Looking forward to the transparency!

Yeah, there will be expense reports. Everything we do is 100% transparent .

Just out of curiosity; Every other proposal needs to know the expenses BEFORE they voted on. What makes this special?
