We are Dash Venezuela, led by Eugenia Alcalá; and now we aim to turbocharge Transactions in Venezuela by leveraging our unique ecosystem with Massive Reach tools, such as E-Learning, Dash Talk and Shop, Earned mass media, with a Cost-effective approach.
We will use our 7000+ DATABASE, Thousands of places to spend Dash and MILLIONS of views on national media channels.

1) E-LEARNING: TEACH USERS HOW TO PAY WITH DASH FROM ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.
Venezuela has the largest amount of businesses acceptingDigital Dash and other cryptos in the world! IT’S NOW the moment to leverage those users and increase the volume of transactions. How? An ongoing educational online program.
During phase one, we’ll teach basics about cryptocurrency– what’s Dash, digital cash and how to use it to buy products in the cheapest and fastest way possible from anywhere in the world.
This course would be free and the participants will receive a certificate of completion once they demonstrate that they have acquired the knowledge. Dash Venezuela will offer the necessary customer service.
Some of the questions we expect to answer are:
How can we use Dash without the Internet?
How to refill my Dash account on my cell phone?
What platforms are ready to buy Dash and when is Fiat taking over?
Where are the POS and how I can buy from them? How can I locate Dash businesses in the world?
Our goal is not only to educate but also to prove that Dash is an easy, convenient and safe form of payment.
We estimate that by September 2019 this educational platform will be a reality if this proposal is approved.
2) DASH TALK and SHOP: REAL TRANSACTIONS GOING INTO DASH AFFILIATED BUSINESS.
With more than 2,000 merchants accepting Dash in Venezuela, 7K potential users trained by Dash Venezuela and a huge network of strategic partnerships with Latin American migrants associations in different parts of the world, we are now able to boost a new increase of transactions that will benefit allied merchants and Dash users.
We designed a new type of event, called Dash Talk & Shop. It is very simple. We will gather about 100 people in one of the stores accepting Dash in Venezuela, and, at the same time, we will also gather another similar group made up of relatives and friends of these people, currently living outside of the country. We will teach them how to make a purchase directly to a merchant, from abroad, supporting and satisfying the basic needs of their relatives. We will focus on sections such as food, health, transportation, and education.
This model will not only allow us to offer real and good solutions to Venezuelan users, providing them an alternative to face the serious crisis that the country is going through, but it will also allow us to apply this dynamic and increase the number of transactions in other parts of Latin America where merchants are accepting Dash.
With a network of operational partners and partnerships with associations of Venezuelan migrants in Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Peru, the United States, Brazil, Ecuador, Panama and Spain, we will expand the scope that we have achieved so far, by connecting people using an online international seminar that will allow a simultaneous connection of people from all over the world with our activity in the store.
This is how, at the end of September 2019, Dash Venezuela will have at least 6 Dash Talk & Shop in 6 different stores that accept Dash in Venezuela. We will connect people from other countries and this will increase purchases with Dash - Digital Cash, both in Venezuela and anywhere in the world.
3) EMPOWER THE DASH BRAND: WORLD CLASS PR AND MARKETING CAMPAIGNS.
With our world-class PR platform, we have excelled in positioning the Dash brand in the minds of Venezuelans and positioning our country as the first crypto nation of the world.
Our social (Twitter + Instagram + YouTube + Facebook) media gathers around 40K followers with our 2 brands, @dashcaracas and @dash_venezuela.Our mailing database sums +14K unique registrations.
Only in 2018 the spokespersons of Dash Venezuela attended more than 100 interviews, both national and international, including TV + Radio + Press + YouTube reaching and multiplying by thousands and thousands of people.
Our new proposal includes the development of content that shows the growth of the Dash brand in Venezuela and other countries and generates interest and confidence in its adoption and use, the sponsorship and executive production of
new specialized spaces, in addition to the permanent exposure effort in platforms that provides the greatest outreach with the least possible cost.
So, by the end of September 2019, Dash Venezuela will have at least 50 new brand exposure through podcasts, videos, interviews, advertisement, sponsorships, among others.

4) LEARN, PLAY AND WORD OF MOUTH: SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOTION OF BUSINESSES IN THE DASH NETWORK.
Once the participants complete the online training, they’ll be encouraged to sign up for a contest – the second phase of the e-learning – where they’ll videotape a real-life transaction using Dash. This material will be used to spread the word in social media, bringing awareness and increasing the number of transactions. A digital marketing campaign will also be used in order to reach new prospects and those who already know Dash, such as migrants and small import-export businesses. We’ll also expand our alliances to the rest of Latin America by reaching the migrants in those countries – real people with a real need for Dash.
At the end of this proposal in September 2019, Dash Venezuela will have carried out an online marketing campaign to promote the e-learning + contest strategy to boost the use of Dash with real purchases from merchants accepting Dash
around the world and especially in Venezuela. This will organize this knowledge into a system.
We expect to work alongside exchanges, wallets, Text services and many more organizations in other countries, including other Dash communities in LatAm and elsewhere in order to do joint events and make sure we can get the most synergies.
5) SUSTAIN OUR WORLD LEADING OPERATIONS.
A physical space to receive them when they need it. This is the space we use for training, meetings with clients, strategy development meetings in order to achieve the objectives of the Dash Community in our country. We know that in
Latin America and the world having a presence and a face gives confidence to customers and / or users. We offer the space and knowledge to keep providing advice to those interested in Dash Digital Cash. Clients such as large companies, professional associations, entrepreneurs and ordinary citizens, who are interested in receiving assistance on how to implement a real use of Dash for the benefit of a large number of people.

We reached millions of users in Venezuela through weekly radio and TV interviews and dozens of articles from around the world.

We continue adding massive professional associations interested in learning more about Dash Digital Cash and the advantages of its implementation. We have been focused on deepening the expansion of our crypto in the country through our strategic relationship, and here is a sample of our work in this regard with the Federation of Public Accountants of Venezuela and the Federation of Psychologists of Venezuela, which became the first professional association to accept Dash as a payment method.

We need to support them or Ryan needs to change his tune, we can't have it both ways. This poposal is a no brainer yes from me.
Wow, am I reading this right or does Dash Venezuela have a MUCH LARGER social media following than even Dash News?? And they're only asking for about 1/2 of the money with one less month of support! That's a pretty good deal I'd say comparatively. Eugenia has a following of 40k across youtube and twitter! From a math perspective I think it really makes sense to support this proposal, just for the strong social media presence and the 2000 active stores alone.
To the Masternode owners, this is our shot. Let's solidify our lead in Venezuela. The only thing we could really do to mess this up would be to get complacent. Bitcoin Cash is slowly catching up to our global adoption push with just over 1000 stores accepting. We won't be ahead forever, but with a proposal like this we will have the ability to maintain our commanding lead into victory. Vote 'Yes!'
All the previous work we have done had the objective of introducing and positioning Dash in Venezuela, and we are doing it successfully; now it is necessary to maximize the momentum.
Dash Venezuela was born thanks to the project of Amanda B Johnson (Daily Decrypt) whom we consider a point of reference. However, as you commented, there is still a lot to do and knowledge to share. We are the best option thanks to the experience gained in training processes for merchants, entrepreneurs and end users, and especially thanks to the scope we currently have.
Our strategic relationship includes conversations with blockchain projects such as Tutellus that promises a lot in this matter, as well as with Venezuelan Educational Institutes and universities that ask us to teach the use of Dash at an experiential level.
We have a great opportunity in the country and we have the resources to push it for the benefit of the entire Dash network.
We are big fans of education and pour our hearts and souls in teaching people how to use Dash, and we believe this is a great opportunity to continue growing our reach and having impact as a network!
Regarding our reach on social media we have a reach of about 23k people on our Instagram Channels ALONE (Instagram is the king communication App now in Venezuela). This reach is a result of the participation at the massive scale programs we have attended. This are national TV Channels such as Globovision, Venevision and many many more; and we are very proud to state them as part of our professional network.
And to be honest: They want to learn more about Dash! So we still have a lot of room to grow!

In order to try to clearly show the value to the network, we want to say that we will continue to grow the Dash Brand and get massive awareness, not only through media appearances but now through massive internet reach and key retail workshops (Our Dash Talk and shops with 100s of attendees).
On our first year, we managed to get Dash in the map of crypto adoption by getting people to massively know about Dash, and now we are switching gears and teaching people to USE Dash efficiently!
We are certain this are needed actions to complete the Venezuelan Dash ecosystem, and they are not being pursued by any other team, and best of all they complement store acquisition and remittance activities, so we are really happy and confident we will continue to make Dash in Venezuela an example of real usage of cripto!

Either that or the Dash Network shuts up about Venezuela, we can't have it both ways.
Hyperinflation created problems in payment networks and caused people to be open to testing other options, and that is why we have managed to obtain such a big grow for Dash in just one year, and that is why the world is now looking at what solutions can be built here, with us in Dash spearheading the movement. And like GrandMasterDash says: "We must not get complacent in Venezuela".

there is a post from Dash Latam in which they claim that the explosion on the last months is because of their effort, and "But it’s not Dash Merchant Venezuela (DMV) or Dash Venezuela (DV), neither of which effectively exists anymore."
Then both groups present proposals and lo and behold there are people voting no without explanation on both sides.
I tried asking about it, but I got no answer.
I think until some light is brought forward with a clear explanation about what was funded, what was achieved, what happened, from someone everybody respects (like Ryan) we will continue to shoot ourselves in the foot.
They don't appear to have enough masternodes to control things themselves, only to enough to influence others. Hence all the negative posts on proposals like this or Dash Nepsium (a new proposal led by Nathaniel Luz of Dash Nigeria) trying to influence MNOs to vote no, questioning and nitpicking every little budget item when we have the money. Nobody else but us has the money, but we see them complain about a 'tight budget'.
They're trying to justify why they're voting to hamper Dash's adoption and influencing others to do the same. This is my theory. Its the only one that makes sense to me. There is no one else that is incentivized to see us fail or want to see us fail as much as these individuals.

That's right. The process of adopting a new technology on a massive scale must cover multiple aspects. Especially considering the complex barriers that Venezuela is currently going through.
