Every cryptocurrency, after having a burst due to early adopters, it slowly declines because the new generations have no incentives to join it. The new generations and the late adopters prefer to create their own new coin. The basic income or the faucets are smart methods in order to fix the injustices of the coin emission curve, to incentivize the late adopters and the new generations to join a cryptocurrency and thus keep the coin alive. But in order to give a basic income or a fair faucet, a strong proof of personhood is required.
The Encointer community implements a unique proof of personhood method that combines strong identification and anonymity (a similar method was also proposed in Dash, back in 2017). In this proposal the masternodes are inviting the Encointer communities to join the Dash community. The Encointer communities are mainly local communities and are using local cryptocurrencies, but they also need a universal currency for their international exchanges. By offering them a basic income paid in Dash in their Dash addresses (all the Encointer members will be required to open Dash addresses in order to claim their Dash basic income) we make the Encointer members also Dash members and we incentivize them to use the Dash crypto as a medium for their international (and intercommunity) exchanges. Dash becomes that way an early adopter as the first universal coin that will be used by the Encointer communities.

Any Dash community member is free to become also an Encointer member, to bootstrap a new local Encointer community and of course to participate to any Encointer meeting worldwide, and thus examine their procedures and benefit from them. We strongly recommend the masternodes to participate at least once in any local Encointer meeting, in order to receive their basic income and find out that their vote is not in vain.

In short, we have 4 ideas at stake with this vote:

1) Ability of the MNOs to vote numbers or numbered poll options.
2) Merge Dash community with another community and provide a Proof of Personhood for the Dash community combined with anonymity.
3) A Basic Income for both Dash and Encointer communities, meant to cure the irregularities of the Dash coin emission curve and incentivize the new generations and the late adopters.
4) Incentivize local Dash members to meet each other in real life, in regular intervals, and strengthen the community feeling.

Why do you vote NO with your 8 masternodes?

If you vote NO because your opinion is that this money is spend for a useless charity to foreigners, you could just participate to whatever Encointer meeting worldwide and get your dividend, or even better you could create an Encointer community in your local town and get benefit of the procedures and of your positive vote.

I believe that you will reconsider, as you also did with mnowatch.org site, which you voted NO initially but now you vote YES.

Encointer currently asks 70910 USD from KUSAMA, it is the 8th request and they managed to win 4 of them. Here in Dash we are asking 80 USD, it is the 3rd request, and we didnt earn something until now.

Dash has $432,070,014 market cap and Kusama has $449,795,705 marketcap.

70910 USD compared to 80 USD.

Until now, the KUSAMA faucet has distributed 2640 USD to proven individual humans of Encointer.

To understand how important are these 80 USD that we are about to offer as Dash community, 3 USD roughly covers the expenses of an entire day for an average person living in the Mbuharati neighborhood of Dar es Salaam.

Having said that, I also investigate the idea to provide a non equal distribution of the Dash dividend to the Encointer members, based in their local cost of living.

This is because I would like to incentivize the formation of Encointer communities not only to developing countries, but also to rich countries.

Yet another idea that I am about to investigate, is a non equal distribution of the Dash dividend in favor of the Encointer members who transact each other, rather than spend their Dash to the exchanges.

But these ideas will be investigated in case the Dash/Encointer Basic Income is subscribed permantly to the Dash budget.
