Proposal description

What does this specific proposal fund?

DCG expenses break-even between a price of 27 and 30$. This proposal aims to make sure that our reserves don't get too much smaller with a current price around 24$.

How did Evolution 1.3 and 1.4 go?

Evo releases 1.3 and 1.4 happened in the last month and so far everything has gone great. We are now working on tools to get users and Evonode Owners to be able to interact with the Platform chain.

How long will DCG last at this level of Funding?

We are just barely underwater, but with very little reserves left.
If this supplemental passes and the price remains around 24$ we will not need to make any structural changes till November. If the price goes up by just a few dollars DCG will be in a much better situation.

If you have any questions, please direct them to quantumexplorer at dashcentral.

Requested funding is as follows for the September 24th superblock:
  • 427 Dash ($10,248.00 USD @ $24 per Dash)
  •     1 Dash Proposal fee reimbursement
Total:   428 Dash

@PO
Would you mind launching a rigorous investigation into the feasability of integrating the Platform TUI within an optional Tab in DashCore, very similar to the Masternode Tab and the Governance Tab?
Are there any other valid reasons for keeping it strictly separate, except maybe to prevent bloat, but i think even bloat would be an invalid argument, because it would likely only require one or two relatively small program libraries, right?
Many MNO are customers of one or another hosting service, and have not much inclination having to use and install (and constantly update) separate programs only for being able to manage their Evonodes, many also simply lack the experience or have minimal knowledge about Linux commands. Those few having great Knowhow and expertise must not believe that it is just as easy for everyone else as it is for themselves.
Having a TUI console as an optional Tab, could greatly improve ease-of-use for many MNO who use DashCore.
In order to prevent bloat, the installing setup could even ask, whether to install the required modules and routines.
Perhaps it could be worth to take the time to properly investigate all the pros & cons at least,
without any prejudices and without hurrying to draw any premature conclusions.

The questions you ask where largely answered in the DCG Development update from yesterday, https://youtu.be/rc_avHHqG6E why don't you check it out? Soon, we will have the DET and that will allow the things you wish for to be done. I prefer not to pollute the wallet with extra features that themselves require specialised effort to maintain and may introduce vulnerabilities that could result in loss of funds, let's keep the wallet a wallet and make sure it does that one thing exceptionally well. ;)

Cut the crap.

tenderDash supports 300 nodes at max!!!!! The Dash platform is a monumental bullshit, against all notions of decentralization!

Point of clarification here, currently there are about 214 Evonodes, of which only 100 can be activate at any point in time. The decision on which Evonodes are in the active set at any particular time is based on Core L1 quorums, which essentially pick a bunch of 100 from the 214 at random. During the period where an Evonode is inactive, it just follows and validates the chain, just like a full node does, but during the time it is selected for work, it also proposes new blocks to the system. There is nothing wrong or centralised with this system, it cannot be easily be taken down or stopped. The mechanism is very similar to other leading POS coins and has stood the test of time. If you are going to raise issues with the system, you should at least first make sure they are valid issues, otherwise you lose credibility as a source.

What are you talking about? 100 nodes cannot be taken down? Are you serious? They obviously can be taken down, with a simple DDOS attack!!!

But because the platform is designed by the agents, and because there is no community here (only you and me and a very few other real persons) and because bots and agents control the whole Dash now (they arrive at the very end of every budget cycle and vote in favor of those who comply or do not oppose the agents' specifications), and because Dash is a dead coin ..........nobody cares to DDOS Dash.

Thats why Dash platform has never been DDOS attacked, simply because nobody cares about Dash. But in the rare case that Dash will rise again (against all odds), then they will obviously and easily DDOS and attack its 100 nodes , and destroy it as designed by the agents.

Correct. I have previously shared historical evidence of interpol shutting down larger networks. The academics here believe such an attack would produce nodes elsewhere.. no it wouldn't, that's just not how it works, or else dash would be 50x higher.

FUD, the number of nodes to be taken down all over the globe make it completely infeasible. As stated above, a set of almost 300 nodes are rotated in and out of service (100 active set) hourly. The number then to take down is the full compliment, it's a game of whack-a-mole that can't be beat.

It's okay, you can ignore the historical evidence and you can ignore the number of nodes at the cheapest centralized hosting providers.

First, you need to accept that the number of masternodes is capped in dash's code. The global elite can wipe out 95%+ of anything that is programmatically capped. So now you can put your hand up and say, "we played whack-a-mole and won"... yeah, like gopher is still a thing, but who cares?

Read here: https://forum.cosmos.network/t/cosmos-vulnerable-to-ddos-attacks/70/2

There was a discussion on Github about it: https://github.com/tendermint/tendermint/issues/763

The conclusion?

The agents control Dash, wake up!!!!

Do you imagine how easy it is to shut down 300 nodes?
Do you imagine how much does it cost a DDOS attach on 300 nodes?

Who ever supports and votes for DCG and for the platform stupidity, is eather completely stupid, or an agent who wishes the destruction of the Dash community.

Dash community...let me laugh..There is no Dash community anymore. Only some bots that arrive at the last moment and support the platform stupidity.

PROOF OF PERSONHOOD FOR DASH NOW!

VOTE FOR ENCOINTER!
