Proposal description
What does this specific proposal fund?
As said in previous proposals that if the price didn't significantly rise above 24$ we would need to make structural changes in November. We are in November and are making structural changes that are needed.
Our reserves are pretty much empty, hence the money we get in through proposals is the money that we pay out and we have made that clear to contributors. Some contributors have agreed to temporary pay cuts and some others are now working less hours, and some both of these things. I would like to thank everyone willing to make sacrifices for the project. We have also had to part ways with a few people. This proposal will not be able to remove pay cuts, or completely solve the situation, but it will help, it will also mean more people will take less time off as we will be able to pay them.
Why is this proposal being made when other proposals are out there?
DCG has been requesting close to 5500 Dash for a while, recently though other proposals have started requesting more and expanding while we are laying people off. Last year incubator requested around 800 Dash. They have since broken up into sub groups, and these sub groups together are requesting 1744 Dash this cycle. This is not a problem, however the network should understand the consequences of DCG not being able to pay people and being forced to lay people off, and should be given a choice on what they prefer funding.
How did Evolution 1.5 go?
Evo release 1.5 happened in the last month and so far everything has gone great for that release. However we did experience a chain stall that was quickly resolved, and came down to a small stupid coding mistake cascading into something bigger.
What's coming up for Evo?
The next beta version of Dash Evo Tool with wallet support and a lot more should be released by tomorrow, maybe it already has when you are reading this. In it you will be able to register an identity by paying to a QR code. Requesting your username is also very simple with the tool, it also has the ability to see all your usernames.
DCG is also focusing on SDKs, we hope to see a lot of the fruits of our labor starting in December.
DashPay for Android is in beta and will soon be released. Estimated release for iOS version will be in January.
Evo 1.6 will have Fungible Token support and multi sig support. It is currently estimated to be released in January.

We are used to it here in Dash , the scam proposals to be strongly supported by the government agents.

No, just a large number of MNOs saw the value in this proposal which ensures that DCG can deliver as much as possible.

Yes, I remember, and I also remember what happened to the members of the then DCG, they were all rightfully fired. No one in DCG that was responsible that and others like it eg alt36 are still there.
Initally , the supplemental proposals were meant to ask the REMAINING of the budget, were NOT meant to compete with other proposals. DCG changed the semantic of the word.
They should not name the proposal supplemental !!!! Some people voted for it, because they believed it didnt compete with other proposals.
Thats why it is a scam. Whoever changes the semantics of a word or of a definition, is a scammer.

I agree with and did ask them not to put in a 'Supplemental' this month. Hopefully we don't see a repeat of this month again.

DCG started to tell lies in its SUPPLEMENTAL proposal.
There are 3 proposals that could not be elected even in case the could get the votes , because the so called DCG-SUPPLEMENTAL proposal claimed their money.
The Recent proposals are:
TxCity_Dash_Evolution_2024_Q4 claims 60 Dash. Cannot be given if DCG-SUPPLEMENTAL is voted
Dev_P2P_and_ZMQ_Explorers claims 100 Dash. Cannot be given if DCG-SUPPLEMENTAL is voted
DCD_Web-Wallet-QR-Explorer claims 75 Dash. Cannot be given if DCG-SUPPLEMENTAL is voted
Dev_Web_SDK-Platform_Id_with_Explorer claims 200 Dash. Cannot be given if DCG-SUPPLEMENTAL is voted

* Will it fix the issue for some mno's of owner private key not working anymore, forcing those mno's to use payout private key ? See : https://github.com/dashpay/dash-evo-tool/issues/28
* Will the next version contain a warning not to use hardware wallet addresses either set as payout address or set as final destination through payout private key ? Since withdrawals paid out directly to a hardware wallet address (Ledger / Trezor) will not be able to get moved out of that hardware wallet. The fix for this in DMT (specially for Ledger) could take awhile.
