Proposal description

Proposal Abstract

A continuation of https://digitalcash.dev/proposals/dcd-1-rpc-web-proxy/

This proposal serves 2 functions:
  1. Literal “buy in” on the idea that:
    - We believe that we want Digital Cash on The Web
      and
    - We want to lower the barrier to entry for Developers - especially Web Devs
  2. Applying payment towards the hosting of redundant RPC Web Proxy & Explorer setups for both mainnet and testnet
    https://rpc.digitalcash.dev (mainnet)
    https://trpc.digitalcash.dev (testnet)
    - https://p2p.digitalcash.dev (tested working with CoinJoin, not yet public)
Real-World Use Case
This proposal itself was submitted via the RPC Web Proxy on the Web. No DashCore console.

Looks like something I probably want to support, like it would be useful for devs, which is probably a good thing, but I don't really get what it's all about. I'm not a developer and I don't even know what a RPC Web Proxy is and why I should care about having one and I don't understand many of the other terms on your site and video.

Can you explain in a short simple sentence or two, dumbed down for a layman like me, what this does and why I should care as an end user?

Thanks! I'd be interested to know what happens if you vote within the next 12 hours. The governance object is future-dated and I'm curious to see if the MNs will correctly reject the vote or if they'll allow it - and if so if they'll count it or not.
