New Updated Proposal!

Proposal Description

"Ask not what your digital currency can do for you but what you can do for your digital currency."
-Blake Chamness-

Why I’m Doing This Proposal:

As a long term crypto-enthusiast and DASH holder, I’ve benefited from the speculation of DASH as an investment. As
a result, I feel like I’m in a position to give back to the community and
encourage adoption and usage in the real world by everyday people! Also, I love
getting people on board the DASH team and educating people about money and what
options they have. If people have any interest in making our world a better
place then I’m sure I can get them excited about DASH! I’ve already paid, on my own volition, for the branding of my 1969 VW Bus into a “DASH – Digital Cash”promotional machine. I am not currently asking for funding for this paint
job or operating expenses for the use of my bus. I am also not currently asking
for personal remuneration for my time – these are my own personal contributions
to the DASH community!

The Dash Bus Tour will engage with people in major cities promoting DASH - Digital Cash. This
project will kick off in Austin, Tx and I look forward to being a DASH
representative at all the bitcoin meet-up groups. I’ve also mapped out many
crypto-friendly businesses where I know I can set people up with wallets and
spread the news of DASH and just how much we have going for our currency and team.

Please watch my interview with Brian Mason of Dash ForceNews

[/b]
Article Here: https://www.dashforcenews.com/meet-blake-chamness-man-behind-dash-bus-tour-proposal/

Financial breakdown of money I am asking for-*I am not asking for any personal remuneration for my time. I have a passion for DASH and am happy to teach others about its advantages and benefits! All DASH will go 100% into
promotional materials and to new users.*

Asking for 30 DASH-
5 DASH back for submitting proposal
25 Dash for setting up wallets with new users and investors and for
promotional materials. (t-shirts, stickers, etc).

Accountability: As part of the expenses, I will post receipts of the t-shirts and other major expenses associated with promotional
items. I will also log how many users I get and how much I am giving away per
user. I think $10 worth of DASH per new user will be sufficient to get them
interested enough, considering Amanda’s $20 DASH giveaway was so successful! Also, I am always on the DashNationSlack answering questions and posting so that will be a great way to get a hold
of me.

How I will do it:The first month of the DASH tour will be in Austin,Texas. As you may know, Texans are naturally skeptical of big
government and  the city of Austin is full of open-minded  people who love to hear about alternatives to centralized power
structures which promote freedom and personal responsibility.
I will record DASH giveaways and events posting them online maintaining a presence on youtube, twitter, and facebook. I will always offer first 10 comments amounts
of DASH- this number can increase over time to first 25, 50....

https://twitter.com/BlakeChamness

https://www.facebook.com/blake.chamness.92

-Be a presence at bitcoin meet-ups and events as well as current retailers who accept bitcoin. I
thoroughly enjoy talking about digital currencies and I have yet to get someone
into DASH who hasn't been very thankful.
-I've got flyers, shirts, and a passion for converting people onto the DASH TEAM! With our second tier
governance system and Evan's latest vision-it's an easy conversion! Just takes
meeting people and walking them through it in a fun way.

Why Only 30 DASH? I am asking for a small amount this first proposal just to show you guys what I can do. I say small only because
converting the bus into a DASH BUS cost me $4,500 for the body work and paint
job. I have no problem paying that up front and getting this project
started. This first month is about proving myself to you and making this proposal as “risk free” as possible for the
Masternode Owners. I am on a mission and am looking forward to bring DASH to the people! Vote “YES” to fund my proposal and you will see how DASH resonates with the masses!

Sincerely,
Blake Chamness

Thanks Mastermined! I sure do appreciate you guys supporting me! Hopefully the meetups can continue to grow in numbers in Austin and that I can find some high traffic areas where I can post up and get people interested. Still feel confident I can make a nice impact for DASH in Austin!

Very happy to see the yes votes coming in...the last days of the cycle are upon us and I can almost say with full confidence that I am among a very small group of people that is employed by the DASH TREASURY.

I think we are down to like one day left to vote-did not look when logging on. I have printed out another 100 flyers-surprised that I had gone through my others so quickly. My two next immediate goals

-Find a public high traffic area where I can set up my DASH banner and a booth and set people up with wallets, flyers and tell them about the next meetup.
-Hold another DASH Austin Meetup-with double the audience and double the engagement.

I feel the key to having my proposal be successful is to first establish a base of people who not only understand DASH and are invested in it but would also like to participate in helping raise awareness of it around Austin. I have a good model for doing this and my goal is that long after I have left Austin- the Dashers can continue to be active.

I put a link up to the footage of the first ever DASH Digital Cash Austin Meetup in my proposal. I can not believe we were the first to do it-I would think Austin would be full of DASH people. Anyway, it is up, and the co-host Matthew Robertson did great and inspired me to work on my speaking skills. Had a wave of no votes come in and hoping I can maybe win you guys over!

I am only going to get better and better! Next DASH meetup I want to double the size but also double the engagement! I want people asking what they can do for DASH!

Austin, Tx had it's first DASH DIGITAL CASH MEETUP and 12 people were setup with wallets I believe-each given 20 dollars...feel honored to help kick start off things! I'll post some photos on my proposal-been posting stuff in Dash Nation Slack

I'd say we got exposure to DASH to about 15-20 people that night-I want to do another meetup at the place as they had TV screens all over the bar and outside the bar posting DASH stuff up while we were there. Good spot and a guy who has a website I'll post soon came up and spoke and did GREAT! He is super smart and fielded all questions like a pro! Tough questions too! He nailed it!

I appreciate the recent wave of yes votes! Means so much! Everyone one of them! In Austin now, for the second time promoting and getting things going! Meetup tomorrow so I thought I would recruit people at a Geeks Who Drink night at the bar where my meetup is.... hoping to get about 25 or more to show! Also picking up a 4ftx8ft DASH BANNER I had made! Want to go buy Brave New Books on this trip and see if I can set up there one day soon and get customers coming in set up with a wallet and DASH. A great spot to mingle at....!

Voting YES. Blake has put up 10 Dash so far in proposal fees, painted his van with a Dash logo, produced videos, and probably done more that I don't even know about. He's friendly, diplomatic, hilarious, and definitely committed. I'd love to see him around longterm.

I posted photos of the DASH shirts I got from Fine Southern Gentlemen based in Austin, Tx in the DASH NATION SLACK- can add them on to proposal if needed if anyone was waiting to see if I had really done yet another thing on my own dime! Labor of love gentlemen- and I have passed out a few shirts with a few flyers and had great responses! It feels good-true believer that the ripple effect of projects like these will get people on board! VOTE YES to projects with heart!

I just watched your video, and you seem like an intelligent personable person.

So we have an intelligent, personable person who not only wants to, but is able to schmooze with other people (something I can't do for sure) and promote Dash. And he wants to do it for free, but have Dash fund some giveaways. He painted his bus with Dash all over it, on his dime, and basically wants us to show him some support via funding this proposal to give Dash away to people he meets.

People, only a crazy foolish person, or someone who has true passion for Dash would do this. And I don't think bchamz is crazy nor foolish. And I think he comes across great. I would love to have him represent Dash anywhere. So yes, you have my vote again.

Dash Core can't replace passionate people on the ground. There is no replacement for that.

BTW if you could please copy/paste your proposal here, it would be advantageous to you. I think if people really want their proposals seen, they should take the small amount of extra time and paste in the proposal at all locations they can find that gets MN eyes. It's up to the proposer to reach out, and MN owners are already getting overwhelmed (some ;P) so make it easy on them if you want their votes ;P

Such gratitude- thank you TanteStefana! Sure do appreciate the kind words and I am working everyday to get better at the schmoozing!

I've been working on metaphors that I think help bridge the gap on some questions that arrive on both digital currencies and specifically DASH. The mission continues.

Thanks so much.

Your determination in submitting a second proposal is noted. I am willing to fund this and then re-evaluate after a month if you decide to continue seeking funding. Encouraging enthusiastic supporters of Dash who go out of their way to spread the word with boots on the ground is something I see value in. Having already taken the initiative to pay up front for the work on the bus, and not cutting and running after the first proposal, I think we should give you the chance that you have asked for. There are certain things about this proposal I am sure that could be improved and I hope you are open to suggestions from the community. Will vote Yes --

Do you plan to just randomly find bitcoin meet ups and become intrusive in a way promoting Dash, a coin that the meeting isn't for at their meet up? Realize it's like us holding our open house for Dash and someone from ETH comes in saying they are way better. I would very much not appreciate that at a Dash meet up so why should we do so at a bitcoin meet up? Everyone has their own opinions, let them be.

people who are "On tour" hold their own tour and all attendees are there to hear about what the person on tour has to say. Justin Bieber doesn't just show up at a Taylor Swift concert and ask to be on stage. Yet that is exactly what you plan on doing.

You are not on a tour.... you are simply trying to crash the party at bitcoin meet ups. You are giving bitcoin users Dash, knowing they most likely will just switch it over to bitcoin. because I would do the same if I was at a Dash meetup and someone from Bitcoin came and gave me free bitcoin I'd switch it right to Dash.

It's also very loosely given what you are even going to do. "Creative giveaways" yet no idea of what kind of giveaways they will be. Also what connections do you already have to allow yourself influence into these meet ups? Creating a list of what will be accomplished is necessary rather than using vague terms and wishful thinking that there will be a bunch of meets for you to go to.

Also it is not Dashs problem you decided to spend a boat load of money on a wasteful project.

Very big NO

In my own experience on this site, Mizzymax has trouble understanding very basic concepts. He/she will read a proposal, and build their own fantasy version of the proposal. Mizzy will then proceed to "debunk" this alternative version of the actual proposal and will then feel very good about his/her logical feet. Don't dignify him/her with a response. People will see how intellectually bankrupt Mizzymax is by themselves.

Very basic example. Mizzymax blindly defends Dashdisciple, who has been doing some questionable things recently, but Mizzy gets all confused when he/she sees proposals like the aerosports proposal, or the youtube commercial proposal. Both are very reasonable proposals in my opinion.
Reply
-1 point,7 years ago
I bring up very valid points... there are no numbers at all in the proposal. You do not know what you are buying. Like I said, in my response 95% of the proposal funds could be going to buy t-shirts, who knows to be honest. There are many flaws to the proposal with no structure at all. You simply hope he is successful in whatever task he gives himself that in itself is very vague.

DashDisciple has yet to take any money from the treasury for his input on Dash. He has forced a movement to change the proposal system that wouldn't have been other wise. Please enlighten us with the "questionable" acts he has been doing.
Reply
0 points,7 years ago
He lied about being a masternode, he "outed" someone and called them a fraud which turned out to be one of his little fantasy's, and he acts like a child when confronted about his proposals. Enlightened yet?
Reply
0 points,7 years ago
Mizzymax-here are the numbers- I can't make it any more clear-99% of the money given to me on this proposal will go out in the "creative giveaway" methods that I outlined for you. (for reference go to A3. in my original response to you on what those creative giveaways will look like. It's that simple-go to A3 where I outline yet again what my methods will look like.

As for DashDisciple- I am not aware of that situation or what your problem is with it. Did you have anymore questions for me to answer?
Reply

To Understand my point.
I'm looking to market for a company let's say. I'm planning on marketing in a bunch of different ways to gain traffic. some twitter marketing, some Facebook, hosting events, ads in the paper, etc.

My boss then asks me, what am I going to spend the money on that Il be receiving. My response, 100% on marketing boss! Can't get any clearer then that boss!

That is the answer I am getting, I feel you don't even know what your going to do with the money honestly. How do you even pay $4500 dollars on a paint job haha, if anything it shows how easily you will just blow the money away.

Hey Mizzymax, thanks for taking the time to ask me some questions about my tour. I'll address your questions one at a time, and I hope anyone else who has any will take the time to post them. The only way people will fully appreciate what I am going to do is by asking me the hard questions and seeing who I am and how I respond.

Q1.) "Do you plan to just randomly find bitcoin meet ups and become intrusive in a way promoting Dash, a coin that the meeting isn't for at their meet up?

A1.) "I have found the dates that the bitcoin meetup groups attend in Austin so no it will not be random. Furthermore I would never be intrusive in a meeting and for the record I am not against bitcoin. If I were to be intrusive and obnoxious in a meeting do you really think that would serve my interests? The goal is to listen and be friendly. I have orchestrated a few bitcoin meetups myself and we always welcomed talk of other coins.
Q2.)"You are not on a tour.... you are simply trying to crash the party at bitcoin meet ups. You are giving bitcoin users Dash, knowing they most likely will just switch it over to bitcoin. It's also very loosely given what you are even going to do. "Creative giveaways" yet no idea of what kind of giveaways they will be. Also what connections do you already have to allow yourself influence into these meet ups?

A2.) This is a good question. If I were to give someone Dash I could do it instantly. I think that is worth noting, don't you? Isn't that what we all liked about bitcoin in the beginning-fast, cheap transactions. As for what connections I have to attend said bitcoin meetups I am not sure if you understand how these meetups work. It's not invitation only where we all walk down a red carpet-not the ones I have created or attended-it was digital currency enthusiasts meeting up and having fun. I had one in Santa Barbara California where the person who owned the place gave everyone free beer and pizza and honestly most people there wanted to hear about other coins. At the time, I had bitcoin blinders on and wish someone would have brought up DASH! Can you imagine how grateful I would have been?

Q3.) It's also very loosely given what you are even going to do. "Creative giveaways" yet no idea of what kind of giveaways they will be.

A3.) I'll give two examples-one in the online world and the other in the real world. I'll keep this simple. When I post an online video of an interview I do with someone about digital currency I will reward the first 20 comments with $10 of DASH each- and for the person I interview I will give them $25 dollars of DASH for their time for the interview. IN the interview (let's say its a bitcoin maximalist) I will ask them what they think of DASH's second tier governance system and it's ability to circumnavigate a lot of the issues bitcoin is going through right now like block size increases and lack of marketing. This is known as the Socratic method-a form of cooperative argumentative dialogue between individuals, based on asking and answering questions to stimulate critical thinking and to draw out ideas and underlying presumptions... were doing it right now Mizzymax.

Lastly I'll address your last statement ""Also it is not Dash's problem you decided to spend a boat load of money on a wasteful project."

I never said it was-and I don't find it wasteful at all. I enjoy the way the bus looks and the way it came out.

If you have any more questions or comments I'd love for you to respond. It would be my pleasure to address your critiques.
Reply
-2 points,7 years ago
Well if you have held Bitcoin meet ups, why are you not holding Dash meet ups in this proposal? I feel there is no reason you shouldn't be doing so.

As for the giveaway, it doesn't give Dash any interest in giving the first random commenters to receive $10 in Dash. Very wasteful in my opinion, the comments give you no extra traction or marketing purposes to pay them off. If you wanted to do a giveaway for marketing purposes online, I suggest changing your strategy to incorporate a structure to build your videos upon, while using the marketing power of your users.

Also I feel you will be blindly throwing Dash around, there is no price tag someone receives for opening up a wallet. There are absolutely no numbers at all in this proposal saying how any of the resources are spent. I suggest you break it down Dash by Dash. How much is spent on shirts, flyers, online giveaways , opening Dash wallets, etc. (all subject for change of course) these are just basics that allow the Dash community know how much is going towards each output. For all we know you may be using 95% of the funds to buy the t-shirts. Who knows.
