Having listened to some concerns and recommendations of the Dash Community and MNOs, we have decided to trigger sooner a strategy we had planned for Q2 2019 focused on generating an increase in the Dash transactions count, so we bring to you our redefined proposal.

OUR SCOPE
We have excelled in positioning the Dash brand in the minds of Venezuelans and positioning our country as the first crypto nation of the world. Despite the difficult market, opening the door to thousands of merchants to accept Dash, reaching millions of users in Venezuela by earning weekly TV/radio interviews and getting in tens of global publications are proof of the real steps we have achieved for the Dash network; and as 2019 begins, we know great things are yet to come, but making Venezuela a Dash nation is now closer to being a reality, We proved it!
After a successful balance of achievements for more than a year and a half, we know what is possible to do with the right promotion and education strategies, but we want to achieve more. We want Dash to become the first choice of Venezuelans as a payment method.
We are close to sealing other big successful alliance with a big box brand organization like Church’s Chicken de Venezuela. Soon we will share great news about adoption from well known companies and organizations of our country.
We are the center of a national movement composed of more than 30 communities in the main and most important states and regions of the country, besides our ongoing work with professional associations, emerging fintech startups, and various actors in the academic field.
We have inspired and advised other enthusiasts in half a dozen potential Latin American communities to replicate our best practices and initiate coordinated actions that promote the growth of the Dash network in Colombia, Argentina, Brazil and many more. Our cooperative spirit precedes us, and we will continue to spread the Dash communities as much as we can as we believe in the operation of the DAO and how it can create tremendous synergies.
We have the potential and knowledge of the community to promote the Dash brand and share the success of our experience through the participation of our team in events inside Venezuela and abroad.

OUR PROPOSAL
1) CREATION OF A VIRTUAL DASH MALL, WITH ONLINE SHOPS FOR VENEZUELAN ENTREPRENEURS, MERCHANTS AND COMPANIES

This is, unquestionable, a great success, not only for the teams working in Venezuela, but also for all the Dash network. This is a triumph for the Dash DAO!
But we have reached a point where some MNOs are wondering why, despite of the great numbers of merchants accepting Dash in Venezuela, why the transactions count has not gone up proportionally.
Our new strategy is aimed to increase such numbers by helping this entrepreneurs, merchants and companies to increase their sales volume, teaching them how to create their virtual shops.
With each merchant we will:
- Sign confidentiality, alliance and exclusivity contracts.
- Educate them through theory-practice workshops to create their own virtual shop.
- Provide them with legal, financial, marketing and technical consulting to make their virtual shops successful.
At the end of this proposal in May 2019, Dash Venezuela will have developed 1 Virtual Dash Mall and with at least 50 new Dash-accepting online shops.
2) WORLDWIDE PROMOTION OF VENEZUELAN VIRTUAL SHOPS ACCEPTING DASH
Once the Virtual Dash Mall and the 50 new online shops are created, it will be time to tell the whole world about it!
So we are doing a massive online marketing campaign to direct traffic to the new virtual shops, and also meetups with our international allies in:
- Argentina
- Brazil
- Colombia
- Dominican Republic
- EEUU
- Panama
- Spain
By the end of this proposal in May 2019, Dash Venezuela will have had 1 Online Marketing Campaign and at least 7 meetups in other countries to learn how to use Dash to make quick and no-cost transfers to any part of the world, and promote the real use of Dash through the virtual shops.
3) WORLD CLASS PR MANAGEMENT
Our PR platform has maintained the permanent exhibition of the Dash brand in all kinds of media. Only in 2018 the spokespersons of Dash Venezuela attended more than 100 interviews, both national and international, including TV + Radio + Press + YouTube, reaching thousands of people.
Our new proposal includes the development of content that shows the growth of the Dash brand in Venezuela and other countries and generates interest and confidence in its adoption and use; the sponsorship and executive production of new specialized spaces, in addition to the permanent exposure effort.
So, by the end of May 2019, Dash Venezuela will have at least 50 new brand exposure through: interviews, advertisement, sponsorships, among others.
4) OPERATIVE EXPENSES OF THE DASH VENEZUELA HEADQUARTERS
This is the space we use to hold trainings, meetings with clients and strategy development meetings in order to achieve the Dash Community’s goals in our country.
Clients such as large companies and professional associations who are interested in receiving guidance on how to implement real Dash use for the benefit of a large amount of people.
5) WE HONOR OUR COMMITMENTS
Siaskiboy envisioned our commitment of going on with our work even when the price drop cause that we did not get the funds of our approved proposals. He lent us 200 Dash, and this amazing gesture is what made possible to hold the conferences 10 and 11 of our cycle in 2018, with benefits for the whole Dash Community.
We have been paying him back the last 4 months, and there is still 40 Dash left to pay him. We will complete our payments, although our gratitude to Siaskiboy and other members of the community that have financially supported us will stay forever. THANK YOU!
6) NEW MERCHANTS, COMPANIES AND ORGANIZATIONS ADOPTING DASH
We will do the job of sales, training and consulting for merchants, companies and organizations with which we will seal strategic alliances to mark new global adoption milestones, such as the one we made happen with Church’s Chicken de Venezuela’s Dash adoption at a franchise level, accepting Dash in its 10 stores.
At the end of this proposal in May 2019, Dash Venezuela will have accomplished the announcement of at least 2 big and important Venezuelan companies or organizations adopting Dash at a national scale.

We want to thank all the MNOs and Dash Community members for your support that has helped us lead this national and international movement that has build the basis for making of Venezuela the 1st Dash Nation.
In these turbulent times for the country, we believe that pushing forward will only increase adoption for Dash in Venezuela. The fact that our country has an official cryptocurrency and laws are adapting to include this into the hands of people will allow us to work in a less difficult environment from a regulatory perspective. We keep a direct contact with experts and policy makers to ensure the Dash brand stays compliant at all times, this has also allowed us to work closer with exchanges so that we can increase the liquidity in the market, which is something we understand is needed, in order to improve transactions. We are also constantly in contact with other Dash groups of interest, including DCG so that we can find synergies and share best practices, as we know diversity will help us build this Dash ecosystem much faster and more efficiently.
We are confident that you trust in our knowledge, experience, professionalism, transparency and our ability to develop effective alliances and strategies. Together we can achieve mass adoption in Venezuela. We are the faces and hands to execute it, and your support is fundamental.

We of course should continue to support the teams that are working hard for us. You reward behavior you want to see more of, and you punish behavior you want to see less of. So who would want to see less of the Dash Venezuela team? The team that got us 2000+ stores in Venezuela, the most out of every cryptocurrency? That's right, we have infiltrators from other communities who are using their well-sharpened knives to create fud within our community and attack the DAOs that are spreading Dash adoption.
We have plenty in the budget, so the only reason to defund this team that has been working for us for over a year would be because there are people who don't want to see that success repeated. Vote Yes! and vote to continue massive growth in our largest market.

Dash Merchant and Dash Help are teams that work in Venezuela but they are separate teams from Dash Venezuela.

You have done allot of good work for Dash, but I fear your team is lacking in to many area's, and with the budget(s) that have been requested, to many funds seem to be miss allocated. Not enough professional solutions have been provided.
My advise is that we keep the best parts of Dash Venezuela, and transition it into a more professional team, that can fill identify and fill in the gaps, with: transparent, professional and structured solutions, that Dash Venezuela and other teams can build on.

Eugenia Alcala answers do not inspire confidence (especially when comparing to George Donnelly's interview with DW)
- I see where little of a learning curve, the quality of the work seems to be close the same level when She started working for Dash
- Answers come a cross a somewhat hand waving
- It seems that there is a high depends on freelancers, I thought most work was done in house and we where creating our own team of expertise (I would like to see allot more info who they are and what work they have done)
To me and my team are valuable every observation, specially from MNOs.
We trust the confidence we inspire is not measured only because of answers to a specific interview, but also because of the results.
About the learning curve, I am not sure what do you mean. It is evident that we have grown exponentially since our fist proposal, where we were teaching how to use Dash to small entrepreneurs and merchants, comparing with the level we are now. Thanks to our work with the massive conferences and the continuos presence in mass media, we have earn the enough reputation of professionalism to have big companies such as Church's Chicken de Venezuela and their 10 stores to trust in us to be their consultants to adopt Dash at a franchise level and announce it in every TV and radio network of our country. This is a worldwide milestone for the whole Dash Community.
Besides Church's Chicken, we are in negotiation with other big companies and professional associations, and as soon as they are ready to announce it officially we will.

About the "hand waving type of answers", we respect your opinion, but it is important to remember that our communication style, somewhat fresh and easy to understand, has got through to thousands of people in our country and abroad. Of course, if you have a specific suggestion about how to improve our communication style, we are open to hear that.
Dash Venezuela's team is formed by almost 30 people, that have been coming into the project for 1 year and a half since we started. This is a stable, professional, trained and committed team. When we say freelancers, what we mean is that they are not employees, they do not have a fixed salary or work time, they work and get paid by the hour. This is an arrangement that is more efficient for the use of the DAOs resources.
I will prepare a document with the information of who the team members are and their work in our organization. Thank you!
Q: We might already know the stuff?
-That a large % don't leftover money after buying food to purchase Dash
-That consumers prefer easier purchases than signing up for exchanges
-That gov officials have reduced some regulations on USD in the last few weeks, bringing us more competition
-That barely any essential food stores had been signed up in 2018
- That knowledge of the Petro is still much higher than the knowledge of Dash
(assuming the Core proposals will pass, which is likely)
I am also still waiting for the next DashWatch report on this. But I think even though I do like the proposal, in general, it is too expensive atm and won't fit into the budget. And I think some of the other proposals are more important.
This way i can see if they are in communication with DashWatch about this specific budget proposal and if they can provide DashWatch with relevant information in a timely manner.
