I would like to see videos regarding DASH taken from the conference posted on the DASH Caracas youtube channel. Although there is some educational content on the DASH Caracas youtube channel the majority of content is mainly promotional pieces for promoting the conference and other DASH projects in Venezuela. These are interesting but of limited value in actually educating Venezuelan's on how to use DASH that did not attend the conference. If the entire conference is recorded you would already have the content to post on your youtube channel. The content just needs to be edited into bite sized videos on specific subjects associated with DASH. I have spoken to a number of Venezuelan's in Spain non of them had even heard of DASH. I was amazed that they had no idea what DASH was about and they were trying to find ways to remit money home. A conference is a good start however why not publish that content on DASH from the conference so that thousands of other people could benefit from watching your content on DASH on the youtube channel. There is some content but nowhere near enough to educate a beginner to using DASH to make remittances to Venezuela.

Conferences are a good use of Dash especially for niche issues such as the economic stability of a country, remittances, which this conference conveys well

Venezuela is going through terrible inflation, 700% in 2017. This year will be worse. Dash can literally save lives in this situation.

There is a benefit to Dash with the acquisition of 600 participants for the conference.



- Financial Characteristics -

There is a clear return of investment from this proposal.

Please make sure that your budget proposals in the future get created at the start of our Dash voting cycle, not at the very end.
This means planning ahead with regards to getting access to specific hardware (windows computer in your case), in order to create your budget proposal in a timely matter.

Im a vendor in these conferences since Dec 2017. I can´t tell more than good things about our experience and how people is getting Dash adoption so quick. Cheers and I hope this proposal had green light!

I would make some suggestions:

I think you should do a thorough study of the attendees, since there have been several conferences and I would like to see more metrics such as type of assistants, age, to which they are dedicated, for example if 80% of the assistants are students, I think that It is not the profile, since the profile should be people with purchasing power and people who have businesses where they can establish themselves.

On the other hand, I think you should take advantage of the crypto Petro announcement so that people can understand distinguish between Dash vs. Petro.
And that Dash is 4 years old.

I have also seen very technical explanations, which I think is not the profile of users who have attended. You should focus more on the use of Dash as a currency, to send remittances, rather than as a speculative or investment product.

I can assure you it is not over confidence. What happened is that my computer (a chromebook) does not support the QT wallet, so I could not submit the proposal with it. I had to wait to have access to another computer with Windows. In the past, I submitted the proposal in www.dashtreasury.com but they are not working anymore.

Over 50 bussinesses accept DASH in Venezuela, thanks to DASH Venezuela's team work. To manage the email invitations to our events, we are using MailChimp, and that allows us to segment our mailing lists, so we are able to control that around 60% of our attendees to every event are new.

Growth per event:
*September: 140 attendees / 2 vendors.
* October: 350 attendees / 6 vendors.
* November: 450 attendees / 6 vendors.
* December: 590 attendees / 30 vendors.
* January: 800 attendees / 50 vendors.
